HARDWOOD

Engineered hardwood flooring is comprised of multiple layers of wood that are fused together to support stability. Engineered hardwood consists of several layers of hardwood or soft plywood that are designed to be more resistant to lower & higher moisture levels than solid wood. These layers lie beneath the surface layer or wear layer, also known as a veneer. The veneer is made up of solid hardwood that makes sanding & refinishing possible.

Unlike solid wood, engineered wood will not expand or contract as easily due to changing temperatures or humidity. Therefore, if you are looking to upgrade an area of your facility with hardwood floors but have concerns regarding buckling and warping, engineered wood may just be what you are looking for. Engineered wood is a renewable building material that is a healthy choice for our environment.

CARPET

Carpet offers a complete range of design options to create your ideal atmosphere. It insulates well and can play a part in creating an environmentally friendly facility. Carpet can support a welcoming, playful aesthetic, create a bold, innovative look or communicate a premium, upscale feel and artistic environment. It’s generally softer, more comfortable and more inviting than any other type of flooring. Understanding the environment of your carpet, along with your design aesthetic and your budget can help you choose the best solutions.

LAMINATE

Due to its synthetic blend, laminate is more affordable than more premium natural options, such as wood, ceramic tile or stone. But commercial grade laminate flooring still provides great durability, as it resists scratches, sunlight, and even heavy wear & tear. For the best results, purchase laminate that has the highest AC Rating, a measure of a floor’s durability.

Since laminate uses digital images, it can take on the look of nearly any natural material with limitless colors and finishes, such as smooth, distressed, textured and more. New, glue-free & pre-glued laminates reduce installation waste & costs, while options have emerged with pre-attached underlay or no underlay, speeding up the installation process. Laminates are also hypoallergenic & easy to clean and maintain.

TILE

Tile flooring is manufactured from a variety of materials such as clay, stone, metal, terrazzo, and quartz. Each type of tile flooring has its own defining characteristics. Generally speaking, the two most commonly used types of tile flooring are ceramic and natural stone.
